The purpose of this activity is to focus the learner on two resources (the Concept
Paper Template and the Concept Paper Best Practices); and to look at the
different expectations based on the research approach used.
FIRST:
review the Concept Paper Template (including the comments in the margin).
Find every reference to either qualitative or quantitative design. While these
two approaches have many similarities, there are some important differences in
the way each should be treated. In an APA style document with citations compare
and contrast the expectations for each approach as presented in the Concept
Paper Template. You may use other references to help clarify the similarities
and the differences.
THEN:
