Brands such as Samsung and LG, from the then emerging market of South Korea, successfully established themselves in developed markets becoming renowned global brands. More recently organisations such as Lenovo and Tata have achieved some level of success in the global market place.
Discuss the attraction of developed markets for emerging market brands and evaluate the challenges they can face when targeting developed markets.
